All is Good in the Hood....

...and WOMB!

Just got back from our ultrasound and Little Miss looks p.e.r.f.e.c.t. She's weighing in at a whopping 4lbs 11oz (almost as much as her fur-brother, Indy!) Now, I know these weights aren't always accurate, but it still gives me peace of mind.

I was anxious to see if she was positioned how I imagine her. I told y'all before that I feel her hiccups really low, and jabs to the ribs, so I assumed she's head down. And sure enough, she is! I know she could twirl around a few more times in the next six weeks, but for the last two she hasn't changed at all. {Fingers crossed she'll stay down}

We got to see her cute widdle face and what seems to be chubby cheeks and Blake's nose (yes!) She was also opening and closing her itty bitty fist... right in my hip, like always! We also saw her feet kicking my ribs. It was so cool, y'all!

Baby Girl is in the 27th percentile and the tech said she's just going to be a smaller baby. I was 6lbs 12oz and Blake was 6lbs 7oz so I can't see her being all that big any way. Plus, I'm cool with that... might make for an easier eviction, right?! {we can only hope!}

Thanks to everyone for their advice, encouragement, and prayers. I appreciate it sooo much! You guys are the best! And if you can keep my cousin Holly in your prayers, too. She's being induced tomorrow at 6am with her second boy, Will!

Have a great night everyone! (Grey's is on!)

xoxo

  1. SO happy to hear that everything is great, as I had suspected it would be... you are just a tiny girl, of course you will have a tiny baby! A friend of mine just delivered her healthy little girl at almost 39 weeks and she was 5 lbs 10 oz!

    I'm just jealous you got another ultrasound... my last one was at 18 weeks and I won't have another one (unless necessary)!

    Getting close though!!!! :)

  2. P.S. I have tried to comment on multiple posts of yours, and for some reason it would never let me... and now I have figured out why.... must be the computers at work! But here at home, I was FINALLY able to! (prolly another reason why I shouldn't be getting on blogger AT WORK!) ha
